‘Mission Rural India (MRI)’ is a registered charitable Trust under Indian Trust Act, 1882 to carry out the social activities in and outside India.
Being a charitable body, MRI has been doing modest philanthropy for the past several years of its existence. The core objective of this initiative is to touch the lives of our rural bandwidth in a technology driven community so as to support and enhance the lives of our rural masses. The aim is to provide basic, elementary orientation to our rural children in order to remain connected with our epic strengths.
That Mission Rural India, being a charitable body has been doing modest philanthropy for the last several years of its existence. That Mission Rural India is supported by the leading entrepreneurs, academicians, social workers, teachers, professionals, intellectuals, corporate houses, social and political leaders.
MRI further aims to provide quality higher education in the untapped areas all across the Globe. It also plans to launch massive Educational Ventures and to cater to the specific Educational requirements for the untapped rural masses PAN India by setting up a University by the name and title of Virtual Global University. MRI aims at providing services and facilities to the untapped areas all over India as well as across the Globe, so as to bridge the huge gaps in the rural and urban masses and to take Education at the door steps of rural folks.
With the development of Broadband technology, it was felt that the distance course delivery could be directly on-line and would be interactive between the teacher and the student on a virtual platform. Looking into this opportunity, the project aims to enter into the formal an University Education field to provide campus Education as well as to associate with the distance learning and impart the course content on-line with the interactive module of faculty and students, giving students feeling of virtual class room environment, with specific focus on empowering the students with contemporary knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop themselves as successful citizens capable of leading a fulfilling life and contributing to the national wealth.

There is a great deal of difference between existing and living.
Existing we cannot help, being born, we are destined to exist,
but living is certainly a matter of choice.
True living is, in fact, an opportunity to make a difference
to the well being of everyone around us. Our scriptures,
religious gurus and saints all have called for service to humanity
as the biggest purpose of life.
Life well lived is the best tribute to Almighty.
Lets contribute our mite in strengthening brotherhood,
Promoting spirit of nationalism, work ing for uplifting our brothers and sisters in need,
Supporting projects and movements of national character, creating awareness against
social evils like corruption, child marriage, female feticide, communal discrimination,
spreading education to every child, bringing light to every home,
bringing hope prosperity to every family. We can do it, if we really want.
We have a role in each of these movements and even a little of our effort in this direction will only add true value and significance to our living.
Mission Rural India, as a forum, is open for all those who care for India and work for uplifting every Indian in need.
